Equine Specialty Services is an equine exclusive veterinary practice based in Lufkin Texas. It is the first and only practice in East Texas completely devoted to veterinary care of the horse.

Equine Specialty Services began as a mobile veterinary practice with the ability to do diagnostic procedures such as x-rays, ultrasound, and endoscopic examinations in the field. The practice has grown and now offers hospitalization and haul-in facilities for the management of more intense cases, but is still dedicated to providing mobile services to our clients.

Equine Specialty Services was founded by Brandon C. Richards, DVM in 2006. Dr. Richards is a native of East Texas and a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.
